About Us

During my many years in upper management in the healthcare industry, I was also involved with our family business, Leu Enterprises Custom Homes, operated by my husband and two sons. When I retired from the healthcare industry in 2005, I started my second career as a Real Estate Broker.

It has been a fun and exciting time. Having managed our own rental properties for many years, I initially expanded the company to include a property management division, and when the company stopped building homes in 2006, we added real estate sales. My years of operational management have been invaluable both in my role as the company president and in providing the people skills to effectively work with tenants, owners, buyers and sellers.

It is a family affair, with my daughter-in-law, Susan Leu, as broker associate and, more recently, my grandson as a licensed realtor. The great thing about a small business is that “when you pull the lever, something moves”!

The hallmark of our company is exceptional customer service. We are hands-on and high-touch and will always go the extra mile for our clients. Consistent, effective communication and a laser focus on results are the keys.

I have been a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Folsom for many years, where I have served on the Church Council in various positions. I live in El Dorado Hills with my husband, Merlin, and love traveling with him to many exciting and beautiful places all over the world. Learning about other cultures has been enlightening and beneficial to my work as a realtor, which is all about people.

After years in publishing, where I focused on new business development and sales, I decided to join the family business in 2009 to team up with Ann Leu. I provide my clients with expert service in the area of buying/selling real estate as well as management of investment properties. As a hands-on-agent, I focus on walking my clients through the entire transaction in all detail and stay involved throughout the process. While success is often measured in dollars, I pride myself in providing an exceptional customer experience while developing a mutually beneficial relationship. I hold my broker’s license and GRI designation (Graduation Real Estate Institute).

As a philanthropist involved in animal rescue organizations and raising funds for the American Cancer Society, I have close ties to the local community. I am active in the local chamber of commerce. I live with my husband, Barry, and our rescue dogs in Folsom in the greater Sacramento area and love spending time both at the gym and with my family and grandchild.

My journey in real estate started at age 17 with building investment property for my parents. This venture soon turned into a family custom home business. I assisted from the design stage, permitting, and construction to the final step of delivering our clients’ dream of a beautiful custom home.

I acquired my real estate license in 1995, which created another level of service I could offer our clients. In the early 2000s, the family business began a new endeavor, adding property management to its repertoire.

Through the years, the family business has changed its direction, but our family business values have remained firm. Whether building, designing, or facilitating real estate transactions or property management, our high standards have given great value to our customers. I look forward to staying true to these values and serving our customers for many years.

In my private life, I enjoy spending time with my family. I value fitness and leading a healthy lifestyle. Self-growth and continual learning are at the forefront. Many outdoor activities, from cornhole, hiking, and paddle boarding to fast and furious rides in the desert on my off-road vehicle, feed my adrenal rush requirements.

My most important role as a father of three now adult children has given me some of the best and proudest moments of my life. In the summer of 2024, my daughter and husband are extending the role of grandfather to me. Life just keeps getting better!

After attending college, I joined our family business in 2013, starting in a clerical role and learning the property management business. It is something I really enjoy. It is fulfilling to work with people to help meet their housing needs. I have always been a people person, and the real estate business is a perfect fit for me.

I have also been able to use my computer skills to act as an in-house advisor for the day-to-day technical issues that come up, to keep things working smoothly. I have taken a number of college courses and many specific real estate courses, which resulted in obtaining my license as a real estate agent in 2014. I currently manage a number of rental accounts, which involves showing and renting properties, preparing them for move-in, working with tenants and owners to resolve problems, and keeping track of all the paperwork that flows through our office. In addition, I am involved in real estate sales, working with buyers and sellers to achieve their goals. I am also a member of the El Dorado County Association of Realtors. I thrive in working as part of Team Leu where we focus on superior customer service.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling and hope to do more in the future. I am fascinated by engineering and scientific accomplishments, as well as the amazing natural world we live in. Hiking, target practice, off-road adventures, and family gatherings are some of my favorite activities.
